What Are The Various Stages Of Selection Criteria? IBPS Probationary Officer Selection Procedure
The selection process for CRP PO/ MT-IX consists of three stages. Namely, Prelims, Mains and Interview. The department has clearly mentioned all of these selection stages in the official notification. Correspondingly, the selection procedure is set to test the Logical and Mental ability of the candidate for the job. Each of the stage has its own importance in the IBPS PO Selection Process 2019. Preliminary Examination | IBPS PO Selection Process 2019
This is the first stage of the IBPS PO 2019 Selection Procedure. This examination will be conducted through online mode. The questions for this examination will be of Objective type nature. It will consist of three sections. Namely, English language, Quantitative Aptitude and Reasoning Ability. Moreover, it will also have negative marking. 0.25 marks will be deducted for each wrong answer. Candidates will have to qualify in each of the sections.
Mains Examination – IBPS PO Selection Procedure
Candidates who qualify in the Preliminary examination will be called for the Mains exam. This examination will be conducted through the Online mode. Candidates will first have to sit for the Multiple choice questions. Henceforth, the candidates will be asked to give a Letter and Essay writing test in English language. There will be a penalty for wrong answer marked by the candidates. This stage of IBPS PO Selection Process 2019 will consist of four sections. Namely, Reasoning & Computer Aptitude, General/ Economy/ Banking Awareness, Data Analysis & Interpretation and English language.
IBPS Probationary Officer Selection Process | Interview
The last stage of selection process is the Interview stage. Only those candidates will be called for the Interview stage who qualify the Mains examination. It will be conducted by the Participating Organizations and coordinated by the Nodal Bank in each State/ UT. The venue, date, time, etc. for the Interview stage of IBPS PO Selection Process 2019 will be stated to the candidate in the call letter. Change in the IBPS PO Interview centre will not be accepted by the department. Correspondingly, the total marks allotted for the Interview are 100. Minimum qualifying marks for the interview will not be less than 40% (35% for SC/ ST/ OBC/ PWD candidates). Moreover, 80:20 will be the ratio for the Mains exam and the Interview.
Provisional Allotment Information Regarding The IBPS PO 2019 Selection Procedure
Candidates will be provisionally allotted to one of the Participating Organizations after the Interview process. IBPS PO Provisional Allotment will be according to the number of vacancies. Correspondingly, candidates should not claim indicative vacancies for the allotment. Issuing of the appointment letter will not come under the IBPS PO Selection Process. The Participating Organization will have the right to issue the letter of appointment. If any two candidates get same marks in the merit list, preference will be given according to the Date of Birth. Therefore, candidate senior in age will be placed before the other. No request for change will be accepted once the candidate has been provisionally allotted.
